'At the core, this means that to be a good student, one needs to be less a rote learner and more a critical thinker.'" I think most teachers would not be apposed to promoting critical thinking.
What I like most about this article is the list of tips. They are short and simple way to incorporate technology into the classroom. Creating a class blog and a wiki do not take a lot of learning time and can be very successful with the students.

Yes, the list of ways to bring tech into your classroom at the end of the article is a good reminder that there are easy ways to incorporate a bit of technology into a classroom. By the end of the semester we will have talked about all of these ideas and perhaps you will choose one or more of them for your technology project.
